Florida natives Jacqueline Reid and Zach Jukel didn’t expect to fall for Las Vegas — or for each other — but their wedding adventure is just beginning.
Jacqueline and Zach started out as friends in 2019; four years later, their friendship blossomed into a romance, and now, marriage is just around the corner. The devoted pair, who both work in the hospitality industry, are approaching two years of living in Las Vegas.
Love, Lights and Local Bites

This August the betrothed couple plans to elope in Europe but not without dabbling in “fun debauchery” in Las Vegas beforehand with their close friends from Miami, Tampa and Las Vegas. The fun-loving couple intends to share their favorite Vegas gems with their pals.
“We want them to have a Vegas experience,” says Jacqueline, “[and] we don’t want to hinder that, even if we don’t crazily party ourselves. We know everyone traveling out here wants to have a good time for one night. So we have to pick and choose what we think that they’re gonna be excited for, but also incorporate things that we love.”
Zach and Jacqueline have an itinerary mapped out for their Las Vegas wedding festivities to introduce their favorite people to their tried-and-true hangouts, including culinary gems found off the beaten path.
“We’re going to do a lot of local things like going to local casinos and some fun dinners. We’re such big foodies. We want our friends to understand what we love to do at night like trying new restaurants,” says Zach.
A Slice of Jukel Love

Jacqueline expresses wanting to tie the knot in a local chapel that exudes a quiet charm and aligns with what feels authentic to them.
“[A] typical chapel wedding here is probably like a red velvet room or an Elvis themed venue or a hot pink backdrop. So when I saw That Chapel specifically, it was a little bit more tasteful, a little bit more chic. It looks like our avenue,” says Jacqueline.
Although they aren’t exchanging vows in an eclectic venue, the couple embraces the cityscape’s dynamic culture on their terms, which is through a shared love of the thriving food scene.
“Funny enough, we’re going to Good Pie for pizza before the marriage ceremony. So all of us are going to meet up to have some beer and some pizza first. Then, we’ll all walk up the street to the chapel together. We’re excited. It’s going to be fun,” says Zach.
New Beginnings
Las Vegas is more than a party town to the future Jukel newlyweds; it’s where they envision themselves embarking on their next thrilling adventure: starting a family.
“We love living here in Las Vegas and will be raising our first child here and [we’re] super excited. As a couple who works in hospitality, it’s a great city with a lot of growth and other industries are tapping into the Las Vegas market,” says Zach.
