On January 12, Commissioner Michael Naft and Commissioner William McCurdy, together with Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya, named January 12, 2026 “Paula Cook Day” in recognition of her national honor as the 2024 American City & County Crown Communities and Exemplary Public Servants Award—a national honor awarded solely on merit and recent community impact.
Since joining the Marriage License Bureau in 2012, Paula has helped implement and elevate many of the experiences that make getting married in Las Vegas unforgettable—from creative keepsake marriage documents to the annual pop-up marriage license bureau at Harry Reid International Airport. Her efforts ensure that the Wedding Capital of the World provides exceptional service to all couples, 365 days per year.

Who can enter:
• Anyone may submit on the bride’s behalf (with permission)
• Dress must have been worn at a Clark County, NV wedding in 2025
• Dress must be family-friendly and available for a one-year display
How to enter:
