The 6 Most Famous Celebrity Weddings in Las Vegas Ranked

Las Vegas has long been the go-to destination for quick ceremonies, spontaneous decisions and weddings that feel a little less scripted. While plenty of celebrity Vegas marriages didn’t last, a surprising number did — and those are the ones that stand out.

These couples didn’t just get married in Las Vegas. They stayed married, turning what could have been impulsive moments into lasting partnerships. From Old Hollywood icons to modern TV favorites, these are the most famous celebrity Las Vegas weddings, ranked.

1. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward

When Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward married in Las Vegas in 1958, it wasn’t planned as a headline-making moment. They were en route to London for a film shoot and stopped in Nevada to make it official.

The ceremony was simple and largely out of the spotlight. What followed became the part people remember. They stayed married for 50 years, until Newman’s death in 2008, raising a family and building parallel careers while avoiding much of the drama that defined Hollywood at the time. The wedding itself was quick, almost an in-between stop — but it marked the beginning of a relationship that outlasted most in the industry.

2. Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley

In 1989, Jon Bon Jovi was at a peak moment in his career when he decided, mid-tour, to leave Los Angeles and head to Las Vegas with Dorothea Hurley. There was no public buildup. The two walked into the Graceland Wedding Chapel and got married late at night.

The move surprised his band and management, especially given how closely his career was being managed at the time. It wasn’t a strategic decision — it was personal.

More than three decades later, they’re still together. The wedding itself was quick, but the relationship that followed gave it staying power.

3. Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf kept their 2001 Las Vegas wedding intentionally contained. The ceremony took place at their home, with only their mothers present.

For two athletes who had spent years under constant media attention, that level of privacy was deliberate. There were no photographers, no extended guest list, and no attempt to turn the moment into a public event.

They’ve maintained that same approach to their relationship ever since. More than two decades later, they’re still together, and their wedding stands out for how carefully it avoided becoming a spectacle.

4. Ice-T and Coco Austin

Ice-T and Coco Austin’s Las Vegas wedding story unfolded over time. The two first exchanged vows on New Year’s Eve in 2001 at Caesars Palace in a private ceremony that didn’t include a marriage license.

Five years later, they returned to Las Vegas — again on New Year’s Eve — and made it official. The second ceremony followed the same spirit as the first, just with the legal details in place.

They later reaffirmed their relationship with a vow renewal in 2011. More than 20 years after that first ceremony, they’re still together, and their Vegas wedding story feels layered in a way that reflects the city itself.

5. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos didn’t plan a big wedding. On May 1, 1996, the All My Children co-stars took a break from filming, flew to Las Vegas, and got married at the Chapel of the Bells. The ceremony cost just $179 and was part of the chapel’s standard package.

They’ve talked about that trip often over the years, usually with a sense of disbelief at how quickly it all came together. In 2024, the couple returned to the same chapel and recreated their wedding photos from that day. Now, 30 years later, they’re still married, which gives that quick trip a different kind of weight.

6. Rob Zombie and Sheri Moon Zombie

Rob Zombie and Sheri Moon Zombie married in Las Vegas in 2002. They’ve kept most details about the ceremony private, but the location fits with how they’ve approached their careers and public image.

Their work has been closely tied for years, with Sheri Moon Zombie appearing in many of Rob Zombie’s films. That creative partnership has run alongside their marriage, which has now lasted more than two decades.

The wedding itself didn’t generate much attention at the time, but it has held up. In a city known for quick decisions, theirs turned into something long-term.
