Wedding Party Pregame Ideas For Fun Ahead Of the Big Day

A good pregame is a necessity for every major event in 2024. Whether you’re prepping for a football game, graduation ceremony or baby shower, everyone wants to get ready for the big moment. Your wedding deserves nothing less. So now that you’ve got your wedding party gathered in one place and the best day of your life is just hours away, what do you do to prepare? To chase away those pre-aisle jitters and get your party ready and pumped up, try these pre-wedding wedding party experiences.

Spa Days For Soothing Jitters

This one is a little more traditional. Wedding parties been working nonstop, for what seems like forever, to get ready for the big day to be perfect. You’re stressed, you’re tired and your muscles are sore from holding your breath —hopefully just metaphorically. So, taking your best girls or gals down to the spa to soothe away your tension is the perfect pregaming activity. Consider massages, pedicures or facials to make those countdown hours something special. Bonus points if the spa allows you and your wedding party to share a space so you can chat and get advice from your friends before you tie the knot.

Bowling For Winners

This one should probably be done before you get your nails done, but bowling can be the perfect way to spend the day before your wedding. The childhood-evoking feel of a bowling alley is sure to loosen everyone up and have even the bride and groom focused on fun instead of details that may not be perfect on the morrow. Pizza, beer, and smelly shoes: it’s a time-honored tradition of fun with friends.

Horseback Rides Into The Sunset

If you can find a trail ride near your wedding venue, this is another wonderful way to pass the pregame hours. Enjoy fresh air, fun with friends and just enough low-level adrenaline to have everyone feeling excited and connected with one another. Do bring sunscreen, as you don’t want to be beet red on your wedding day. Don’t skip the reviews, either. Knowing that you’re going somewhere with reliably steady horses can prevent some awkward pre-wedding-fall injuries. Bonus points: if your wedding is near a beach, you can snap some romantic horseback shots with your intended against the backdrop of waves.

Painting With A Twist — Or Other Crafty Pregame Ideas

Another way to occupy the mind and divert from nerves is to plan something crafty with your besties. Whether that’s painting with a twist where you sip win and paint a pre-picked design, or finding someone to guide your party through making resin necklaces or bath bombs, crafts are a wonderful way for an artistic wedding party to have some silly fun. Bonus points go towards picking something you can use for decor in your wedding.

Cooking Class As A Tasteful Pick

Consider hiring a chef to come and walk your party through cooking a delightful night-before meal. Everyone will love the hands-on experience, and you can walk away with a new traditional recipe for you and your soon-to-be-spouse to enjoy when you want to evoke memories of the big day.
