Vegas Wedding Packages: What’s Included and What’s Worth It?

Planning a Las Vegas wedding often starts with a vibe — spur-of-the-moment elopement, glam Strip celebration, or something in between. But it’s not just a fantasy anymore — it’s a growing trend.

Domestic destination weddings are on the rise. Fifty three percent of Fora advisors reported an increase in U.S.-based celebrations over the past year as couples prioritize cost-conscious, logistically simple options that still feel special. And among those destinations, Las Vegas is surging. Bookings are up 145%, according to Fora, signaling just how appealing the city has become for modern couples.

Once you start researching, though, the range of options and price points can feel overwhelming fast. The good news: Las Vegas wedding packages are designed to simplify the process. The key is knowing what each tier actually gets you—and what’s worth the upgrade.

Below, a breakdown of Las Vegas wedding packages, from quick chapel ceremonies to full-scale all-inclusive events, so you can decide what fits your vision and your budget.

The Entry-Level: Classic Chapel Ceremonies ($100 to $1,000)

If your goal is to lean into the iconic, slightly impulsive spirit of Vegas, this is where most couples start. These entry-level elopement packages are straightforward, affordable and surprisingly efficient.

“For the quintessential Las Vegas chapel experience, couples can expect to spend between $100 and $1,000,” says Reid Burkett, Head of Advisor Activation at Fora. “On the lower end, ceremonies are simple — couples bring their marriage license and the chapel provides music, an officiant and a quick ceremony.”

At this tier, you’re paying for the essentials: a legal ceremony with minimal extras. It’s ideal for couples who want to skip the logistics and focus on the moment itself. That said, spending closer to the top of this range can make the experience feel more like an occasion than a transaction.

“In the $500 to $1,000 range, couples can enjoy a limo ride from their hotel to the courthouse to secure a marriage license, then head to the chapel for a ceremony with flowers and a photographer, with some chapels also providing a video recording,” Burkett says.

If you want the classic Vegas wedding with a few memorable touches, this tier delivers without overcomplicating things.

The Middle Ground: Elevated Packages on the Strip ($1,500 to $7,600)

For couples who want more structure, more time, and a more polished setting, mid-range Las Vegas wedding packages offer a noticeable step up.

“Wedding packages at hotels on The Strip are a step up, ranging from $1,500 to $25,000+,” Burkett says. “Mid-range packages ($1,500 to $7,600) typically include florals, photography, videography and often transportation to and from the marriage license bureau.”

This is where your wedding starts to feel more like a traditional event. You’ll likely have a dedicated venue space, a longer ceremony window and more cohesive styling across elements like florals and décor. For many couples, this tier hits the sweet spot between convenience and experience. This works well if you’re inviting a small group of guests.

If you’re planning from out of town — which, realistically, most Vegas couples are — this level of structure can also reduce decision fatigue.

The Luxury Tier: All-Inclusive Weddings ($10,000 to $25,000+)

At the high end, Las Vegas weddings rival destination weddings anywhere else, just with better logistics.

“Higher-end packages ($10,000 to $25,000+) take place in larger venues accommodating more guests and include food and beverage, decorative floral arrangements, hair and makeup services, and a night in an on-property suite,” Burkett says.

These all-inclusive wedding packages in Las Vegas are built for couples who want a seamless, high-touch experience. Think: ceremony, reception, catering and accommodations all handled within one property.

Hosting a larger guest list or want a full wedding weekend feel? This tier eliminates much of the back-and-forth that comes with booking multiple vendors separately.

What’s Always Included (and What’s Not)

No matter where you fall on the pricing spectrum, some elements are nearly universal.

“An officiant, a witness if needed, music and a bouquet and/or boutonniere are pretty standard across all tiers,” Burkett says.

Once you move beyond entry-level packages, you’ll start to see transportation and basic photography included as well. “A limo ride to the marriage license bureau is a common inclusion once you step up from entry-level packages,” she adds.

But here’s where couples often get caught off guard: “all-inclusive” doesn’t always mean absolutely everything.

The Add-Ons That Can Sneak Up on You

One of the biggest misconceptions about Las Vegas wedding packages is that they cover the entire day. In reality, many are ceremony only.

“Most wedding packages are strictly ceremony-focused, so receptions can be an unexpected and significant additional cost,” Burkett says. “If you’re considering Las Vegas for both your wedding and your reception, gather venue quotes early — there are hundreds of options spanning a wide price range.”

Beyond the reception, a few other costs tend to pop up later in the planning process.

“Beyond that, additional photography, florals and day-of prep like hair and makeup are the most common add-ons,” Burkett explains. “On florals specifically, it’s important to clarify exactly what’s included — a package may list ‘florals’ but that could mean anything from a single six-rose bouquet to a full floral arch with arrangements throughout the chapel. And hair and makeup is almost never included in a basic wedding package, so budget for that upfront.”

The takeaway: read the fine print, and don’t assume that a single line item covers everything you’re picturing.

The Upgrade That’s Actually Worth It

If you’re deciding where to splurge, there’s one area that consistently delivers long-term value: photography.

“One upgrade that can truly last a lifetime is investing in the right photographer,” Burkett says. “Most chapels have an exclusivity clause requiring the use of their in-house photographer — but many offer a ‘buyout’ option, which allows you to pay a fee to waive that requirement and bring your own.”

That flexibility matters more than you might think.

Choosing a photographer whose vision and editing style resonate with you makes a big difference in how you remember that day,” she says. “Keep in mind that chapel photographers also tend to be on-property only, so if you want photos at the Las Vegas sign, around the Strip or with friends and family, sourcing your own photographer is a must.”

Planning From Afar? Prioritize This

For couples planning a Las Vegas wedding from another city or state, logistics can quickly become the biggest stressor, even for a simple elopement.

“Couples planning from out of town should strongly consider a package that includes an onsite wedding coordinator,” Burkett says. “Even the simplest elopements have several moving pieces and deadlines that become cumbersome to manage from out of state.”

Having someone local who understands the flow of the day, and can troubleshoot in real time, can be the difference between a smooth experience and a chaotic one.

“Having someone local who knows what does and doesn’t work — and can help manage your ceremony and guests on the day — creates a much smoother experience,” she adds.

Are Packages Actually Worth It?

Las Vegas wedding packages are designed for efficiency—and often, savings—but they come with a trade-off. “Packages are a great way to save, but couples are trading personalization for convenience,” Burkett says. “They allow vendors to replicate key elements — décor, florals, photography, music — which keeps costs low but results in a more templated ceremony.”

For couples who want something simple or semi-customizable, that trade-off can be a win. “For couples who want a no-frills or low-frills wedding, maybe with some flexibility around music and officiant selection, a package is an excellent value,” she says.

But if you have a very specific vision, you may feel constrained by what’s included. “For couples who want more control over their décor, florals and photography, booking vendors independently may be the better route,” Burkett says.

Should You Say “I Do” to Vegas?

Las Vegas wedding packages work best when you’re clear on your priorities. If you want ease, speed and a built-in structure, they’re hard to beat. And in any way you plan, understanding the pricing tiers — and what’s actually included — will help you avoid surprises and spend where it matters most.
