Our Love Story: Jessica Marshall and Jack Womack

Sparks flew when Jessica Marshall and Jack Womack met at Delilah in Wynn, where they would later hold their wedding reception.

“We met at Delilah,” Womack says. “His sister and I were friends. When I lived in New York, we went to flower school together more than 11 years ago. We would keep in touch here and there.”

In 2021, Jack’s sister called Jessica to tell her she was coming to Las Vegas, where Jessica lived, for a girls’ weekend. Did Jessica want to come?

“She said my brother works at Wynn. Do you want to come out?” Jessica recollects. “I said, ‘yeah, I’ll come out,’ and then walked into Delilah. The table we met at, we made our sweetheart table in the restaurant (at our wedding), which was neat.”

On the night they met, she says they moved from Delilah to the XS nightclub where they listened to Justin Bieber perform.

“I never thought after working 15 years in nightlife that I would never meet somebody in a nightclub,” Jack says.

Afterward, Jack’s sister suggested they exchange numbers to stay in touch. The rest is history.

The Proposal: A True Vegas Moment

Jack purchased the ring in 2022 and held on to it for about six to eight months before proposing in front of the Bellagio Fountains.

“I surprised her by going to a restaurant at Bellagio that we normally wouldn’t go to,” Jack says. “However, little did she know there was a walkway down to a water landing.”

Before asking Jessica to marry him, he timed the entrance for when the fountains would go off.

“It was a super Vegas moment. Being born and raised here, I think it’s fun that we leaned into the whole Vegas thing from our engagement throughout our wedding weekend,” Jessica says.

The couple had a friends and family rehearsal dinner at The Neon Museum.

“And that was all bright, beautiful colors, hot pink peonies, like red roses. We had some orange dalilahs in the mix,” Jessica says. “We had a fun, bright color palette for that.”

They had a carnival-themed welcome party with more fun décor, like yellow flowers in red and white striped containers. Then, they switched it up for the wedding ceremony, which was all white. When it came to the reception at Delilah, they changed their palette to jewel tones.

“Having a black tie formal wedding at Delilah, we knew we were going to … make it more like the Academy Awards for weddings, and that was the look we wanted to present,” Jack says.

Champions of Las Vegas

The couple considers themselves huge champions of Las Vegas, so it was essential to get married in the city with a theme that matched its energy.

“We both love Las Vegas. I was born and raised here,” Jessica says. “Jack, his career path took him from Atlantic City to Las Vegas. He has been pretty much in casinos his entire career. We’re always out and about doing things, and huge champions for Las Vegas. And so for us to get married here made a lot of sense because we love this city so much.”
