  • Sep 26, 22

Wedding chapels, venues and industry members across Clark County will kick off Veterans Day weekend and honor our military members with free weddings and vow renewals during Las Vegas Marries the Military.

All day Nov. 10, 2022, chapels and wedding professionals across Las Vegas and Clark County will honor members of the United States Armed Forces — active duty, guards/reserves, retired and veteran — by offering free wedding services or vow renewals. Submissions to participate in a free wedding or vow renewals are due by Friday, September 30, 2022 and may be submitted at LVMarriestheMilitary.com. Interested couples need to submit a 30- to 60-second video saying why they would appreciate a Las Vegas wedding or vow renewal.

The Industry Shows its Love

The Office of the County Clerk and Vegas Wedding Chamber put a call out valley-wide to the local industry to participate and received overwhelming support—38 industry vendors have offered free wedding services valued at nearly $50,000 with 20 weddings or vow renewals to take place. Las Vegas is rare in that it offers such a wide range of wedding. Couples can choose to say their vows at a grand resort, a country club, the great outdoors or a mid-century modern chapel.

“Veterans Day is a wonderful opportunity to thank active-duty members and veterans and their families for their sacrifice on our behalf. Las Vegas Marries the Military allows us to offer a tangible ‘Thank You’ with free weddings from our wedding community to these special couples,” says Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya.
