Massive vow-renewal ceremony and star-studded musical gala to take place at Caesars Palace..
Nevada is undeniably unique. Filled with contrasts, its geography, culture, and history separate the state from most other tourist destinations. Along its western border, the little city of Reno once held claim to “Divorce Capital of the World”. On the opposite side, Las Vegas has boasted about being the “Wedding Capital of the World” for seventy years. That deserves a celebration!
On September 3rd, couples from across the nation and around the world will converge at Caesars Palace Resort Las Vegas to renew their wedding vows. The mass re-nuptial ceremony will include brunch topped by a spectacular cake from Carlo’s Bake Shop, as made famous by Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro.
No wedding reception is complete without live entertainment, and this one is a whopper. Entertainer Dennis Bono (The Dennis Bono Show) and Lorraine Hunt-Bono have written, produced, and will direct “Las Vegas Will You Marry Me”, a fully-realized musical production. Emcee Dennis will also perform the title song as penned by Dan Slider.
Co-produced by Damian Costa of Pompey Entertainment (the upcoming COMPOSERS SHOWROOM), “Las Vegas Will You Marry Me” stars some of the biggest, brightest, and most resilient performers on the Las Vegas Strip:
- The Bronx Wanderers, 12-time “Best of Las Vegas” award winners, performing a love song of the 1950s.
- Bob Anderson, named the “#1 Celebrity Impersonator” by VH1 and People Magazine, performing a love song of the 1950s.
- The Righteous Brothers—Bill Medley and Bucky Heard—perform a love song of the 1960s.
- Travis Cloer, who starred as Frankie Valli in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning “Jersey Boys,” performing a love song of the 1960s.
- Anne Martinez, headlining vocalist and star of Las Vegas productions including “Bat Out of Hell” and “Baz: A Musical Tour de Force,” performing a love song of the 1970s.
- Earl Turner, named the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Male Vocalist of the Year,” performing a love song of the 1980s.
- Clint Holmes, Grammy-nominated and Billboard chart-topper, performing a love song of the 1990s.
- Lorena Peril, lead singer of Anita Mann’s hit production “Fantasy” and the upcoming original show, “Housekeeper to Headliner,” performing a love song of the 2000s.
- Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie—the ultimate, high-energy “Vegas style” concert-party— performing a love song from the 2010s.
The once-in-a-lifetime event will take place starting at 10 am on September 3rd. General admission is $70 and includes a champagne toast. The VIP Couples’ Vow Renewal package costs $170 per couple and will include a special gift bag.
“The celebration will truly be a once-in-a-century moment to spotlight Las Vegas as the world’s most desirable wedding destination and celebrate the millions of couples who have married here.” — Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk.
Proceeds from the event and a silent auction will benefit the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, which provides help, hope, and support. NPHY is the most comprehensive service provider for thousands of young people experiencing homelessness, providing access to life-changing services for homeless youth 24 hours a day.
