Court Services
The County Clerk’s Office is not the Clerk of the Court and does not handle court matters. Our office cannot provide legal advice for any matter. In order to help assist you, the following information is being provided regarding various court matters.
Clerk of the Court
The Clerk of the Court maintains court records from September 1909 through the present date. Most records dating from 1990 to present may be searched online. The Clerk of the Court provides access to this information to the public, legal community, and court related agencies. Family Court
The Family Division of the Eighth Judicial District Court helps people with divorce, annulment, child custody, visitation rights, child support, spousal support, community property division, name changes, adoption, and abuse, and neglect. Jury Services
The reporting location of Jury Services is in the Regional Justice Center (RJC) at 200 Lewis Avenue. Once inside the RJC, take the escalators to the third floor. For more information, visit the Jury Services website or call (702) 455-4472.
Self-Help Centers
The Eighth Judicial District Court and the Las Vegas Township Justice Court provide help to individuals wishing to represent themselves (pro se) in court. Resources such as the Family Law Self-Help Center provide instructions and help in filling out common court forms. In addition, the Clerk of the Court provides numerous forms and resources for individuals seeking help in filing actions and motions in the District and Justice Courts.
