Las Vegas is known as the marriage capital of the world, and February is a romantic month for chapels in the area.

You might say it’s their Super Bowl.

So, if you thought they’d sit on the sidelines when the real thing came to town, think again.

There’s just something special about a Las Vegas wedding. It’s the perfect marriage of romance and fun.

“You can have a big grand wedding where you spend thousands of dollars,” the Little Vegas Wedding Chapel’s Elvis said. “Or you can have a fun, quirky wedding right here in Vegas that you can talk about with your friends forever.”

The folks at the Little Vegas Wedding Chapel have hosted plenty. Love is their business.

And now, you can celebrate your commitment Super Bowl-style.

When the organizers at the chapel got wind the Super Bowl was coming to town, the idea came to marry the theme with weddings.

“The moment we knew it was going to be in Vegas, we started thinking about what we could do and how to take advantage of it,” Elmer Turcios-Arriaza said.

That meant tailoring the matrimonial menu to suit football fans.

Enter: The Vegas Touchdown package.

The special just went live this week, complete with a custom football field runner, a football at the alter, and plenty of flowers decorated with footballs.

“If anyone wants to have their bouquet customized with a certain color of football or roses, that’s totally available,” Turcios-Arriaza said.

Not to mention, there’s a special guest available to run the show.

“We’re going to have a referee as an officiant,” Turcios-Arriaza said. “They’re going to be refereeing and making sure everything stays safe.”

It’s not just the fans who take part in the fun. Actual NFL athletes, some Super Bowl winners, have come to the chapel to get married after the big game. That means staffers are leaving the door wide open just in case a certain power couple wants to stop by.

After all, what’s a Super Bowl without a little flare and some memories to last a lifetime?

You know how the Elvis saying goes, “Viva Las Vegas!”
